Our Assistant Staff Accountant position offers opportunities for growth in a dynamic organization that is expanding its mission globally. The ideal Assistant Staff Accountant candidate could be a new graduate with up to two years of experience. Responsibilities will be to support the organization in its mission to provide customers with quality products and services. The organization’s customers, program sponsors, and partners are comprised of the major technology companies in Silicon Valley, as well as the most prestigious colleges and universities in the nation. The Assistant Staff Accountant attends the organization’s annual Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC), which will host approximately 25,000 participants this year from the major technology companies and the nation’s leading colleges and universities. The position reports to the Accounting Manager.
- Process accounts receivable.
- Analyze outstanding accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Assist in researching inventory issues.
- Assist the Finance team in resolving sales transactions issues.
- Assist in preparing schedules for external auditors and tax professionals.
- Participate in ad hoc projects.

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree – accounting or finance strongly preferred.
- Accounting background – internship experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on projects and assignments with many moving parts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
