The AnitaB.org Tech Journey Scholarship Fund, in partnership with the Last Mile Education Fund, helps women with low income stay on track and complete their technical education journeys. In response to the global pandemic, AnitaB.org and Last Mile Education Fund are immediately shifting the focus of the Tech Journey Scholarship Fund to provide emergency assistance to women whose educations have been disrupted by COVID-19.
The COVID-19 Emergency Fund is now open to all women in tech who meet the eligibility criteria. At this time, applicants must:
- Identify as a woman
- Demonstrate low-income status, ineligibility to be considered for Federal student aid, or evidence of an urgent need
- Currently be in pursuit of an undergraduate computing-related degree at an accredited 2- or 4-year institution of higher education in the U.S. (see the application for a complete list of eligible computing degrees)
Funds will be made available to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Awards are limited to a maximum of $599.
