Delaying Diversity Reports Only Hinders Improvement

Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace can take years, and the data from major tech companies shows that change is not happening at a quick rate. Hoping not to appear ineffective, many companies delay the release of their diversity reports until they have better results. However, by hiding their results, these companies lose their transparency and therefore the trust of the public. Companies need to be open and honest with their data so both they and the public can see where improvement is needed and where initiatives need to be developed.
