2015 Fall Partner Meeting
Grace Hopper Celebration
Our Fall Partner meeting is the culmination of a year’s worth of work on the mission to increase the representation of women technologists at all levels. At this hosted luncheon, we bring our partner community together to discuss and celebrate the accomplishments of 2015 and network to gain insights into possible plans for 2016. In addition, partner companies are also sending executives to the annual Technical Executive Forum, an exclusive event designed to bring together technical leaders from partner companies to drive action in creating company cultures that sustain diversity for innovation.
Dr. Nadya Fouad – Dr. Fouad is a Distinguished Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She studies how people make work and career-related decisions, particularly in understanding the work choices for women and underrepresented minorities. She is the lead author on the research paper entitled “Stemming the Tide: Why Women Leave Engineering”.
We suggest partners bring team members who experienced our previous Partner Meetings and/or who will continue taking the learnings from our sessions back to their companies to make impact on gender diversity in technical roles. Representatives may include experts in diversity and inclusion, executive or line management of the technical workforce, women in computing, program management, and/or talent acquisition.
