At the opening of the 2019 Grace Hopper Celebration, AnitaB.org announced Bank of AmericaUltimate Software, and The New York Times as the winners of the 2019 Top Companies Women Technologists program. These three companies had the highest overall score, categorized by the size of their technical workforce.

Top Companies for Women Technologists is a national program from AnitaB.org that identifies key trends around the equity of women technologists in the workforce. Participants receive a detailed analysis that allows them to benchmark their progress and continue to build more inclusive workplaces. In 2019, we analyzed data on representation, programs, and policies from 76 companies representing more than 143,000 women technologists.  A detailed insights report released last week found that the representation of women in technology has continued to steadily increase reaching 25.12% in 2019.

For the second consecutive year, Bank of America earned the top spot for a technical workforce of more than 10,000. Ultimate Software led companies with a technical workforce between 1,000 and 10,000, and The New York Times scored highest for companies with a technical workforce of less than 1,000.
