Mentions Launches Codeathon in India

2017, the latest initiative from India, offers an online collaborative coding experience for STEM students in smaller cities across the country. From July through September, students will have the opportunity to enhance their coding and programming skills as they work on the “Navigate the Mars Rover” project, applying a variety of shortest-path algorithms to help the rover reach its destination.

“There is a large pool of untapped talent in the smaller cities that have a lot of knowledge, though need more exposure and confidence-building,” said Geetha Kannan, Managing Director of India. “2017 aims to bridge this gap.”
