Amy Shropshire

Amy Shropshire is an integrated marketing generalist with over 20 years of experience guiding organizations through the marketing maze. With degrees in Graphic Communications Technology, Advertising, and Marketing, she has a unique perspective on how to fit together the business side with the creative side to create memorable brand experiences. Before joining AnitaB.org, Amy was a community college professor and was recognized as one of 2020’s Distinguished Instructors during the transition from in-person to virtual instruction. Amy has also worked in the open-source community as one of the organizers of the annual Drupal GovCon, a Washington, DC-based, free, 3-day conference focused on those who use, develop, design, and support the Drupal content management platform.

In her free time, Amy “enjoys” navigating the toy obstacle course her toddler has built in the living room while simultaneously trying to convince her rescue cat, Ninja, not to climb the walls.
