Campus & Diversity Director of Talent Acquisition for the Americas at CA Technologies
Montreece A. Smith is responsible for leading two critical recruitment programs. In her Diversity role, she is responsible for setting strategy and designing compelling programs to attract top talent from diverse groups including: women, people of color, Veterans, Individuals with Disabilities, and the LGBT community. While her Campus leadership responsibilities focus on: strategy, branding, process improvement and overall relationship management to uncover the most innovative and forward-thinking talent across the country.
With 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, Montreece brings proven ability to execute best-in-class recruitment strategies that align with the priorities of her firm, while understanding the broader impact of her results. She challenges the status quo. She is a talented and creative thought leader, focused on serving and developing her team, and exceeding the expectations of her clients. Throughout her career, she has held progressively responsible positions and continued to enhance her skill set. Through her experience as a leader, human resources professional, diversity SME, talent acquisition manager, and more; she has maintained a passion for driving change that positively impacts the lives of employees.
Montreece currently she sits on the National Labor Exchange (NLX) Operations Committee, and is an active participant in the 100K Jobs Mission Coalition and the Workforce Opportunity (WON) Network. She previously served on the Corporate Advisory Council for the International Association of Black Actuaries (IABA) and was recognized as a Black Achiever in Industry (BAI) by the Harlem YMCA. She has been a featured speaker at the University of Southern California’s Center for Effective Organization’s Conference as well as the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA). She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Western Governors University.
