Amanda Crawford

Amanda Crawford is a senior at Connecticut College majoring in Computer Science. She is a scholar of the Posse Foundation, a participant in AmeriCorps Vista, a scholar of the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, a National Science Foundation Science Leader at Connecticut College, a two year Chicago City Science Fair participant, and graduated from John Hope College Preparatory High school through the AVID college readiness program in Chicago, Illinois. Currently, Amanda is planning to conduct research on designing and implementing a technology-based solution for teaching computer science to underrepresented middle school girls in economically disadvantaged communities as an independent study.\
