NSF Scholarship Recipient
Amy is more than just a student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She has a family and also works part-time while completing an average of 15 credits per semester toward her dual-degree program in Computer Science and Software Engineering. It has been her dream to pursue software engineering and now through hard work and dedication this dream is being realized. She pours herself into her studies and through this shows her two young girls how important it is to chase after their passions. Amy perseveres to learn inside and outside the classroom to continually sharpen her skills.
“It’s important to me to attend GHC because I feel it is the opportunity of a lifetime to seize internship opportunities and learn from women who have succeeded in the computer science field.”
