Chaitrali Amrutkar is a PhD candidate in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech. Her research focuses on mobile web and cellular network security. She has held engineering and research roles at AT&T research, IBM, Motorola and Qualcomm. Her honors include the Google Anita Borg scholarship, the Verizon scholarship and the best student paper award at the Information Security Conference (ISC) 2012. Her research has been featured in several news outlets, notably NBC news, ACM TechNews and Network World. As the co-chair of the women in computing organization at Georgia Tech, she passionately promotes networking and career advancement for women.
