Gloria Godoy is a Computer Science student at the University Federico Santa Maria, Chile. She has worked as a teacher assistant at the university for various courses related to computer networks, also has been part of the Student Council and worked in several personal projects like Blumee.com (virtual publishing for independent authors on Latin America) and GetCaptcha.me (promotion of advertising campaigns through links). His interests include software development, project management and entrepreneurship.
“I thought it was a men’s career, it was strange that a woman would be interested in computers, until one day I had a class in a lab named “Lab Ada”, my surprise was when I learned that the lab was called that way for Ada Lovelace, the first programmer in the world and was a woman!!. I think knowing that, marked me forever.”
