I am currently a PhD candidate in the department of Scientific Computing at Florida State University. I am working on modeling of epidemic diseases; my dissertation is focused on stochastic dynamics in epidemic networks.
I have a strong educational background in computer science and engineering. I hold a BS in software engineering from Azad University and received my MS in bioinformatics in School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University, Bloomington.
I also have extensive job experience as a software developer and a database administrator.
