NSF Scholarship Recipient
Marissa Bianchi is a junior at Siena College majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. She is from Glenmont, NY and is the oldest of four girls. This past summer, Marissa researched a “no-squeeze” Hamiltonian path problem with Dr. Robin Flatland as part of the Siena’s Summer Scholar’s program. During the school year, she is very active on campus as part of the Ambassador’s Club, the Siena Cheer Team, the Red Cross Club and Secretary of the Math Club. She is also a member of Siena’s Women in Computing Club, with whom she presented at the local NYCWiC conference last spring.
