“Growing up, I didn’t have an imaginary friend – I had a computer. When I was younger, there was always some new game that I was playing on the computer and I remember having to ask my dad to help me install it because I had no idea what I was doing and the computer was this big scary thing that I didn’t want to break! Eventually, I decided I had had enough of relying on my dad to help me do things on the computer and started teaching myself how to navigate a computer and eventually the Internet. Wanting to know how things worked in the digital world lead me to pursue a career path in computing.”
