Tanima Dey

Tanima Dey is a PhD candidate in the Computer Science department at University of Virginia. She has research interest in compilers, run-time systems and computer architecture. In particular, she works on mitigating resource contention and reducing soft error vulnerability of multi-threaded applications using software techniques. She works under the supervision of Mary Lou Soffa and Jack Davidson. She worked in Intel Corporation at Santa Clara, CA and Hudson, MA as a research intern. Tanima received Bachelor of Science from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, and Master of Computer Science from University of Virginia. More about her research can be found here:
