Wen Cheng received her B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, China in 1999, and her M.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, in 2009. Since 2010, she has been pursuing doctoral degree in Computer Science at North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND. After finished her undergraduate program, she worked as an IT engineer, which enhanced her abilities and sharpened her skills in computer programming and software development. Her research interests are in the areas of bioinformatics, computational biology, focusing on predicting protein functionalities and structures.
