I am a Ph.D. student and researcher at Old Dominion University majoring in Computer Science with a focus on Information retrieval and Web Preservation. I have finished my class work with 4.0 GPA. I also passed my qualifying exam in October 2012. Currently, I am working as a graduate research assistant in the Web Science and Digital Library group. I started to work on my research point and had one published paper and two accepted papers. I am planning to take my candidacy exam next fall. I had a master degree in Computer Science from Mansoura University, Egypt.

I have a family and it’s not easy to be in computer science field while having 4 years old. Both of the inspiring professors I mentioned up encourage me. Furthermore, they also very successful while they have family and kids.”
