Miren graduated in Engineering in Telecommunications at the University of the Basque Country in 2002. Between 2001 and 2002, she did research activities at Ikerlan in the Department of Communications. Since September 2002, Miren works in the Department of Computer Science and Electronics at the University of Mondragón. Nowadays, she is member of Software & Systems Engineering Research group and she is actively involved in the ARTEMIS Productive 4.0 research project, being a member of the Project Management Team, as well as in the DiManD Innovative Training Network (ITN) project which is a project from the Marie Sktodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks call. Miren’s research is currently focused on Safety Critical Systems, distributed systems, and remote monitoring and control of CPS. She obtained her doctorate in Computer Science from Mondragon University in 2019.
