March for Science (and Other Ways to Support STEM)

On April 14, concerned citizens worldwide will participate in the 2018 March for Science. This event celebrates the impact science has on our everyday lives, and serves as a source of inspiration for the next generation of scientists and engineers. Regardless of politics, it is important for everyone to unite in support of scientific research, STEM education, and equal access to science. Can't attend the march? Not to worry! Here are some other ways you can support science.

We Must Hold CES Organizers Accountable for Keynote Diversity

This year's Consumer Electronics Show keynote lineup is anything but diverse. Not a single main stage speaker is female nor a member of an underrepresented minority. Although the organizers claimed there weren't many qualified women speakers to choose from, industry leaders were quick to point out the diverse lineups at other events, including our own Grace Hopper Celebration.
