On Thursday, December 16 at 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. IST (Indian Standard Time), we hosted “Coffee with Coaches – Mental Wellness Part 2.”
We kick-started a new mental wellness series last month, and our first session was a huge success! Each session focuses on a different topic, so even if you missed the first session, you can still register to attend the next session.
For part 2 of the series, attendees learned strategies for dealing with social experiences based on the SCARF model. The goal was to help people feel more secure and ensure that what they say doesn’t activate threat (fear and mistrust).
Here is a quick breakdown of what SCARF represents:
- Status
- Certainty
- Autonomy
- Relatedness
- Fairness.
Using the SCARF model can help us to collaborate better, to coach people, and to provide more effective training and feedback.
