  • How do I access the new AnitaB.org Job Board?  

    To access the new Job Board, please navigate to jobs.anitab.org.

  • How do I upload my resume? 

    The primary source of data for the AnitaB.org Job Board is information indexed automatically from your LinkedIn profile. By indexing your public LinkedIn profile, companies have the freshest information about you, from a source that they can trust. 

    You can also add your resume as a secondary source of information, by uploading it during the Talent Network sign up process. To do so, navigate to the tab labeled “Talent Network” on the jobs.anitab.org site and press “Sign Up”.

  • What is the Talent Network? 

    The Talent Network is an exciting new feature within our Job Board that allows for an easier experience connecting with recruiters from our companies. When you sign up for the Talent Network a Contact is created using the information that you provided, as well as details from your LinkedIn profile.

    Sign up takes less than 3 minutes and your Contact, once created, is refreshed quarterly with any updates that you make to your LinkedIn so that companies will always use your most current information.

  • What is a Contact? 

    Your Contact, generated by your Talent Network sign up, is a living portfolio that uses LinkedIn to provide recruiters with the most up to date skills and experiences. Using your LinkedIn profile as a “source of truth,” the Contact is kept up to date and allows you to put your best digital foot forward when using our Job Board.  

    To further enhance your profile, you can add your resume and online portfolio or personal website when signing up to the Talent Network.

  • Do I need a LinkedIn profile to set up my Talent Network Contact? 

    You can search for opportunities and apply on Partner career sites without joining the AnitaB.org Talent Network. To allow companies to actively recruit you, however, you need to join the Talent Network, which does require a LinkedIn profile.

  • Do I need to upload my resume when first signing up for the Talent Network? 

    No! Resume uploads are optional for the Talent Network, so no need to worry about rushing to make a resume or update an older one when signing up.

  • Can I login to the Talent Network? 

    No, you cannot login to the Talent Network. Signing up for the Talent Network will generate a Contact in the backend of the system and you can update it at any time by going through the sign-up process again.

  • What if I want to make changes to my Talent Network Contact? (resume, websites, etc.) 

    To make any changes to your Contact, simply sign up for the Talent Network again. Make sure to use the same LinkedIn Profile URL that you used the first time! If your LinkedIn Profile URL has changed, please contact us at a Jobs@AnitaB.org and we’ll be happy to help.

    Any changes to your job preferences, resumes uploads and websites will be reflected on your Contact after completing the sign-up process. Signing up again also refreshes your Contact, so if you've been promoted, hired, etc. these will be reflected in the new Contact.

  • What if I forgot or deleted my LinkedIn? 

    If you forgot or deleted your old LinkedIn and have created a new one (or aren’t sure if you used the same one) please sign up for the Talent Network and then email us at Jobs@AnitaB.org

    We'll check to see if there are two or more contacts for you and adjust accordingly. Most likely, the latest contact will be kept, while the older one is deleted.

  • What are Job Alerts? Are they the same thing as the Talent Network? 

    Job Alerts are a daily email sent out that includes jobs that fit your provided filter properties. 

    This is separate from the Talent Network; you can sign up for Job Alerts during your Talent Network sign up, but signing up for Job Alerts will not create a Talent Network Contact. You can sign up for Job Alerts at any time by pressing the “Job Alerts” button near the filters.  

    Jobs are provided based on the filters that you add to the Job Alert; you can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

  • How do I unsubscribe from Job Alerts? 

    Simply look at one of your daily emails and use the link marked “Unsubscribe”. You can also contact us at Jobs@AnitaB.org and we’ll be happy to help.

  • Can I upload a resume without signing up to the Talent Network? 

    There is no ability to upload a resume to the Talent Network without entering a LinkedIn profile. By automatically indexing your public LinkedIn profile, companies have the freshest information about you, from a source that they can trust.

  • How do I remove myself as a Contact from the Talent Network? 

    If you would like to remove yourself from the Talent Network, please reach out to Jobs@AnitaB.org to delete your Talent Network Contact from our network.

  • Do I need to sign up to the Talent Network to apply for jobs? 

    No, you do not need to sign up for the Talent Network to gain access to the site and/or to apply for jobs.

  • Why should I sign up for the Talent Network? 

    It’s a simple and easy way to have all your job history in one place for recruiters to use to offer you job opportunities.

  • Is the Talent Network the same as AnitaB.org Membership? 

    No, the Talent Network is not the same thing as AnitaB.org Membership. Joining the Talent Network will not automatically add you to the AnitaB.org Membership platform and vice versa.

  • How do I search for opportunities on the Job Board? 

    There are two primary ways to look for opportunities on the AnitaB.org Job Board. 

    The first is using the "Search jobs" function, which allows you to set filters for the types of jobs you want to see and search for specific keywords. 

    The second is to "Explore companies" by viewing the profile information of AnitaB.org companies.

  • How do I apply for opportunities on the Job Board? 

    Each opportunity on the Job Board links back to the website of the company, where you can apply. The Job Board itself does not have an application function and does not track your applications.

  • Does the Job Board have opportunities not available elsewhere? 

    In addition to automatically indexing opportunities available through their career websites, the Job Board allows companies to manually upload specific jobs that are only available to our community.

  • Is a LinkedIn profile required to use the Job Board? 

    You can search for opportunities and apply on Partner career sites without joining the AnitaB.org Job Board. To allow companies to actively recruit you, however, you need to join the Talent Network, which does require a LinkedIn profile.

  • Why are LinkedIn profiles required to join the Talent Network? 

    One of the drawbacks of our previous systems that relied on resumes is that information quickly became stale, limiting companies' ability to use the site to consistently recruit from our community. By automatically indexing your public LinkedIn profile, companies have the freshest information about you, from a source that they can trust.

  • Will the new Job Board use information from the old AnitaB.org Job Board? 

    No information from the old AnitaB.org Job Board, or any other AnitaB.org system, is being transitioned into the new Job Board. The only way to sign up for the AnitaB.org Talent Network is by going through the “Join Now” process available on the Talent Network tab.

  • What information is extracted from my Talent Network sign up?

    When signing up to the Talent Network, our system extracts your name, email address, the preferences selected during the sign up, any resumes uploaded, any personal websites added and your LinkedIn profile URL.

    Our system also extracts information from LinkedIn, such as a summarized experience list and any skills that you may have added to your LinkedIn. Please note, if your LinkedIn is set to private, your Talent Network contact will not appear correctly in our systems.
