AnitaB.org Acquires Wogrammer to Fuel Progress Toward 50/50 Intersectional Gender Equity in Tech by 2025

AnitaB.org is proud to announce that we have acquired Wogrammer, a global organization that uses storytelling to break stereotypes and inspire women and girls to pursue careers in STEM, on January 14. “My co-founder, Zainab Ghadiyali and I always believed the media has a powerful ability to shape the narrative around women in technology,” said Erin Summers, Wogrammer Co-founder. Together, we and Wogrammer aim to share the stories, challenges, and successes of women in tech to bring further awareness to the lack of diversity in STEM and to encourage others to help us fight for equity.

“Wogrammer has done incredible work to elevate women technologists and the world-changing innovations they are creating,” said Brenda Darden Wilkerson, President and CEO of AnitaB.org. “We are excited and I am very pleased to join forces with the organization to advance 50/50 tech equity.”
