Women’s Entrepreneurship Day was celebrated in 144 countries on Wednesday, November 19 to “empower, celebrate and support women in business and build a strong network for change worldwide.” But it doesn’t stop there.
How can you join in on the fun? Here are a few ideas:
1) Nominate a “Woman of Vision” for our brand new ABIE Award for Technology Entrepreneurship. This award recognizes a woman who is the builder of an innovative, ground-breaking, and game-changing technology venture startup (within a larger organization or not). She provides a strong role model for young women coming up the pipeline, turns technologies into viable businesses, transforms markets and creates change.
Submit your nominations by December 12.
2) Make the #WomenWOW pledge to celebrate and support women entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses all over the world.
3) Had enough of Black Friday and Cyber Monday? Reinvigorate your holiday routine by supporting women-owned or led business and causes on December 3, Women on Wednesday.
5) Mark your calendars for our Women of Vision gala held on May 14, 2015 to honor women who are making significant contributions to technology. This year we are featuring two new ABIE awards to recognize a woman entrepreneur and a Student of Vision!
