AnitaB.org is delighted to announce, after months of searching, consulting, and hoping, we are moving into our own office and conference space. With its state-of-the-art women’s technology training and conference center available for public use by allied organizations promoting the development of women technology leaders, the office will be a homebase for our team, women clients, corporate customers, and the entire global women’s tech equity movement!
The location at 1301 Shoreway Road, Suite 425, Belmont, CA, will be identifiable by custom signage on the highway side of the building that will provide branded confirmation that #WeAreHere.
“This new Global Tech Center Headquarters will position AnitaB.org to influence the women’s tech equity movement to reach 50/50 by 2025 male/female gender parity,” said Brenda Darden Wilkerson, President and CEO of AnitaB.org. “AnitaB.org will serve as a model for women, allies, and institutions to aspire to accelerate the pace of change and make tech richly diverse.”
A special note of thanks to the AnitaB.org Board of Trustees, Colliers International, ShelterWerk, Spatialist, and our attorneys and other key advisers who assisted with the detailed due diligence required for us to take such a bold, necessary, and unanimously supported move. We are forever grateful for the foundational hospitality extended by HP, and all who came before us, who have afforded us this opportunity to carry the torch forward.
