On November 9, AkiraChix held the 2019 African Women in Tech Conference (AWTC19) — Africa’s largest gathering of women in tech. Brenda Darden Wilkerson, President and CEO of AnitaB.org, along with a few other members of our staff traveled to Nairobi to be part of this event, with Brenda serving as the AWTC19 Keynote Speaker. It was inspiring to see so many talented women technologists in one place, all of whom have the power to change the world.
