Telle Whitney Weighs in on Elephant in the Valley Survey on Professional Women

The recently-released survey entitled Elephant in the Valley is making headlines this week about its shocking and sobering results. Of the 220 professional women who responded to the survey, 60 percent reported experienced sexual harassment while 39 percent feared reporting sexual harassment would hurt their careers. CEO and President Telle Whitney weighed in on these findings:

“The people I know who reported sexual harassment to HR were sorry they had,” Telle explained. “They were raked over the coals. It was not worth the effort, not worth the investment.”

With results like these, it’s clear that there’s a lot more work to be done to create safe work cultures that promote diversity and inclusion.
