I am honored to extend my warmest greetings to the guests and leaders of AnitaB.org as you convene for the Grace Hopper Celebration 2023.
AnitaB.org has played a critical role in advancing equity by empowering girls, women, and non-binary individuals with the support and resources necessary to achieve success within the tech industry. While talent is everywhere in our Nation, far too often, opportunity is not. When we include people and communities that have been historically left behind, it benefits everyone. I am grateful for your tireless efforts to help create a more equitable and prosperous future for all.
Our Administration is committed to protecting and strengthening women’s rights. In addition to establishing our Nation’s first-ever National Strategy on Gender Equity and Equality to help close gender gaps in domestic and foreign policy, President Biden’s Budget for Fiscal Year 2024 includes critical policies that will address and prevent gender- based violence and progress gender equality across the globe.
May this gathering reinvigorate our commitment to continue advancing gender equity, access, and inclusion. Thank you for all that you do.
